2 Electrical Platform Engineer APAC

Qualification: Diploma/Graduate in Electronics & Communications Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Experience Required: A minimum of 5 years design or product engineering experience gained in AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC power conversion manufacturing environment or similar electronics manufacturing environment. Experience in 3 Phase uninterruptible power supply greater than 10KVA is a definite advantage.

Position Brief: Secure the future service business done on products in terms of growth and profitability, by managing end to end all service related topics during a hardware product development effort (PMP & PEP) : It mainly includes business evaluation (stakes), specifications definition for the product design, development follow-up in projects workshops and all review meetings, Services creation in support of the product, Global training coordination and spare parts availability before the release to sales of the hardware product. The Design for Services program manager is responsible for the completion of all service deliverables within the PMP & PEP programs they are assigned to.
Skills Required: Define the Services (business case & evaluation) for any new hardware product offering based on current Offers Management service stragegy and corporate policies. Define the Service technical specification to be integrated into the product design. Involve the product development team members to share the specification. Participate in product design reviews to ensure servicability and compliance to service design standards. Follow PMP & PEP process BUT if any process issue, needs to be escalated to the Services Process & Methods manager.
